Every lucrative coaching relationship must begin with an earned trust, an opportunity for both the individual and the coach to cross paths and experience each other before determining if their pairing is a good match. During the initial consultation, the coach and the client can gain a feel for each other’s values, work ethics and goals as well as establish a strategy for attaining those goals.
Inspiring, challenging and realistic goals are established, strategies are agreed to, and weekly actions are designed to achieve results.
Leadership, organizational and personal assessments may be used by the coach to better understand strengths and identify developmental opportunities.
The coaching relationship provides a structure to generate ideas, overcome barriers, gain insight into performance and developmental needs, as well as to make things happen.
